How can we prepare for the elevation?

Answer

Denver, the mile high city, is about 5,280 feet in elevation and Larkspur is about 6,880 feet! The best way to prepare is to make sure to stay hydrated throughout your time!

Where should I/we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Inverness Hotel for the night before and night of the wedding to make things easy and convenient. If you’re coming from out of town and planning to stay a bit longer, we suggest exploring other accommodations closer to Denver or a mountain town like Breckenridge for the rest of your trip. We'd love to help you make the most of your visit—just reach out and we’ll happily share more recommendations!

How do we book with the Inverness Hotel (Hilton)?

We have reserved a room block for August 27 - 30, 2026 at the special package rate available for a limited number of rooms through July 28, 2026 OR until the block is filled, whichever comes first. If you don't see a room available, you can call the Inverness to check if there's an available room outside the block for the same rate. We recommend snagging your room fast as there is a limited number of room blocks and the Inverness tends to sell out fast. Ps. You must use the link and our code to get associated perks including venue transportation, self-parking and waived resort fee!

What is your favorite mountain town in Colorado?

Answer

Breckenridge is our favorite mountain town closest to Denver (1.5hrs), but Steamboat takes the top spot as our all-time favorite (3hrs)!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you can park at the venue for the wedding, however, you cannot leave your car overnight. If you are planning on drinking, we highly recommend taking the shuttles

Can I uber/lyft to the venue?

Answer

Yes! However, since our venue is located in the mountains, Uber and Lyft are unreliable in the area. Venue staff have mentioned that you might be able to get a ride to the venue—but it can be difficult to find one back at the end of the night. To make things easy and stress-free, we recommend staying at the Inverness Hotel and taking advantage of the complimentary shuttle service (available when you book using our code)
