For folks coming in from out of state, the Anchorage Airport is about a 4.5 hour drive to Homer. We will try to coordinate rides so not everyone needs to rent a car. There is also a shuttle that runs from Anchorage to Homer. Aleutian Airways is currently the only air service regularly flying between Anchorage and Homer or Kenai.
Homer has lots of hotels and rentals and it is a good idea to book something ahead of time as September is the tail end of tourist season here.
For folks who want to camp there is plenty of room on our property to set up a tent.
