FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding is at the end of summer and will be mostly in the Nadeau backyard, so plan to dress nice but comfortably. The temperature will probably be in the 70s- 80s (25-30 C) so think comfortable shoes with a nice short sleeve shirt and dress shorts or a sundress. We want everyone to have a good time and "dress how they feel cutest" (Occi); i.e. stilettos might not be the move on the grass.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

The wedding is in northwest Montana. You can fly into Glacier Park International Airport, located in Kalispell. They have car rentals nearby and it's a 25 minute drive to the Nadeau household.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Whatever age they are, please bring them along to celebrate!

Question

I want to make this into a vacation; what is there to do around there?

Answer

Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the western US and is only 10 minutes away from the Nadeau house, so it's a great place to cool off and get on the water. Drive 15 minutes and there's the Jewel Basin hiking area, with tons of day hikes and overnighters. Glacier National Park is a 45-minute drive away and is filled with stunning scenery and amazing hikes. No matter what, you can't go wrong- Labor Day weekend is the best time to visit Montana!

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

Kalispell isn't huge and Bigfork is even smaller. The Ubers are few and far between, and there are no city buses between the two. There are multiple vehicle rental companies right by the airport. It's about a 10 hour drive from Vancouver and the views are amazing along the way!
