Travel Note
We have booked shuttles that guests staying in Roanoke and on Smith Mountain Lake can utilize (details below). Guests can drive directly to the venue as well. Please keep in mind that cars are not allowed to be left on site overnight. For guests staying in Roanoke: We have two 54-person passenger buses booked that will provide transportation for all of those staying in downtown Roanoke. The pickup and drop off location is The Hotel Roanoke. For those of you staying in downtown Roanoke or at The Liberty Trust Hotel, The Hotel Roanoke is conveniently located six minutes away by foot. There is a Skybridge (Market Street Walkway) that will take you from downtown Roanoke to The Hotel Roanoke. The buses will be located on the Wells Ave side of the Hotel Roanoke Parking lot at 3:30 PM. Please try to arrive by 3:45 PM at the very latest. The departure time from The Hotel Roanoke is 4:00 PM on 6/6. The buses will be departing the venue at 10 PM and will drop guests off at The Hotel Roanoke as well. For guests staying at Smith Mountain Lake: We have two 27-person passenger buses booked that can provide transportation for those that are staying at the lake. The buses will be arriving at 400 Backcove Dr., Moneta VA at 3:35 PM and will be departing at 3:45 PM. If you (and your party) would like to utilize the shuttle rather than driving directly to the venue, please reach out to either Shana or Michael by 5:00 PM on Friday, 6/5. There is limited parking available at the pickup site, so we need a final tally of people/cars that will be joining us on the shuttle. The buses will be departing the venue at 10 PM and will drop guests off at the same pickup location as well. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We can’t wait to see you all there!

For those flying in, the closest airport to downtown Roanoke is Roanoke–Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), about a 20–25 minute drive. Other nearby options include Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) (~55–60 minutes) and Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) (~75–80 minutes).

We have reserved a hotel block at The Liberty Trust Hotel in downtown Roanoke. 5 minute walk from the Hotel Roanoke where transportation will be provided to and from the wedding.

We’ll be staying at a cozy Airbnb near Smith Mountain Lake. Guests are welcome to check out rentals in the area. The location of our house is 400 Backcove Drive, Moneta, VA 24121 and transportation will be provided to and from the wedding from this location.
