If you are in the area for a while and have extra time to explore, Ocracoke is a fun option! At the south most part of the Outer Banks it is only accessible by ferry. It has a rich history of early settlers, explorers, and pirates. It has areas for shopping, museums, and miles of undeveloped beaches.
The iconic black and white stripped lighthouse is placed near our venue. It is currently closed for climbing due to ongoing restoration, though we are hoping it is open by the time of our visit.
There are so many beautiful beaches along the coast, and a day at the beach may be all you need!
There are many locations in the area and near the venue that rent kayaks, paddle boards, wave runners, and more. Included is a link to just one of the many options.
