What is the Parsonage?

Answer

The Parsonage is a historic home originally built for the pastors of St. Johannes Lutheran Church in 1846. The property was renovated in 2014 as a venue. The Sims family is hosting the Welcome Party at this beautiful historic home and courtyard. Elizabeth will be staying there for the entire weekend so stop by any time to enjoy a glass of wine on one of the two piazzas or in the beautiful English style garden. The bridal party will be getting ready there on Friday morning. 48 Hasell Street Charleston

St. Johannes Lutheran Church

Answer

St. Johannes is located next door to The Parsonage and 2 blocks from the reception venue, Merchants Hall. The church is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1842. St. Johannes is one of Charleston’s oldest places of worship. 48 Hasell Street Charleston

Are masks required in Charleston?

Answer

Yes. Currently, Charleston requires that masks be worn in all public places. Are masks required at the venues? No. They are privately owned and do not require masks however if you feel more comfortable wearing one, please do. Our caterer is committed to protecting the health and safety of their employees, clients and guests. They have implemented heightened sanitation procedures including sanitizing any stations through out the service.

HOT! Daily High Temperature in June -84-88 degrees F Daily Low Temperature in June - 70-75 degrees F Most likely humid. :)
