Hotel
This is a cute hotel that is an 8-minute walk to the wedding venue. Located in the historic heart of New Orleans, stay here if you want to be close to the venue but also appreciate the history of the Treme neighborhood. The hotel used to be many things including a NOPD police jail & patrol station, a library, a community center, then abandoned ruins of Hurricane Katrina.
Hotel
Stay here if you want a romantic Bed and Breakfast located on Esplanade Avenue and only a 4-minute walk to the wedding venue! Esplanade Ave is a scenic and quiet street in New Orleans that is great for walking, riding and connects all the way down to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street!
Hotel
This beautiful luxury hotel is located right on Saint Charles Avenue where you can take the street car further into Uptown or all the way to the French Quarter! The kicker though is that you get the best view of the city on its rooftop bar!
Hotel
Nick stayed here for a work "team-building" weekend and definitely recommends it for anyone who wants to stay in the French Quarter but still wants that nice hotel ambiance. From here, you are walking distance to the famous restaurant Antione's, beignets at Cafe du Monde, and Jackson Square!
Hotel
If you want to stay with a group of friends in a historic New Orleans shotgun house that is close to Frenchman Street and the wedding venue, then this is the perfect stay for you. Neither of us have stayed here before, but we did our research, and it has a Starbucks across the street for that hangover relief on Sunday morning after the party.
Hotel
Nick recently stayed here for a wedding and thought it was in a great location in the Garden District that was walking distance to Saint Charles Ave and Magazine St. It was also on the cheap end, and if your comfortable with hostels we would definitely recommend!
Travel Note
Watch this video to see an example of a second line after a ceremony, which we will all be doing. Get ready to dance in the streets!
