It all started with a dinner date in Boston’s North End... though technically, our “first date” was supposed to be later that week. Hannah may have told Aaron she had a work meeting the night they were originally planning to meet… but really, it was just a ploy to meet sooner. After a week of texting and realizing how much we already clicked, waiting any longer just didn’t make sense. So Aaron waited (patiently!) for 45 minutes at Tresca while Hannah made her fashionably late entrance. From the moment she sat down, she did most of the talking (no surprise there), and Aaron listened, smiled, and let her yap the night away. Somewhere between appetizers, which Aaron insisted on ordering before dinner, a tradition Hannah now fully supports and dessert, we discovered a mutual love for dogs, a handful of mutual friends, and a natural ease that made it feel like we’d known each other for years. We weren’t quite ready for the night to end, so we wandered over to The Point in Faneuil Hall for a nightcap… which turned into four (or maybe more). We talked until past midnight, even though both of us had early Mondays ahead... neither of us cared. That was the start of us. Since then, we’ve explored the world together from Nashville and Florida to New Hampshire, Texas, South Carolina, Mississippi (Go Rebs!), London, Ireland, and (most importantly) Disneyland and the Rose Bowl, where Hannah was officially introduced to “The Clancy Way” of life: a love for Disney magic and college football Saturdays. We’ve been to three Noah Kahan concerts in multiple countires (and counting), with his songs now woven into the soundtrack of our story. We’ve built a home together in Quincy with our golden retriever, Bo, who’s the center of our little universe. Aaron proposed in Marina Bay our favorite spot to bring Bo for a “swim” (or rather, a paw dip) the same place where we’ve spent countless evenings talking about life, the future, and now, forever.
