Are children welcome?

This is an adult only ceremony and reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie. For those who wish to wear dresses, we ask that it is a solid black colour with no pattern. For those wishing to wear suits, we ask that it is a solid black suit with tie, no pattern, with a white undershirt. The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass. Please take this into consideration when picking your shoes! We are looking forward to seeing your beautiful black floor-length gowns and black dress suits!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

This is a dry wedding and reception. Please refrain from bringing alcohol with you to our event. If you are intoxicated you will not be permitted to join us.

When should I RSVP by and what if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 30th 2024. If you do not RSVP by this date, you will not be allowed to attend the wedding or reception. There will be no seating or food accommodations for you.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we would hate to have a phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite by name.

Is there lodging?

Answer

There is an inn in Hankinson with a limited number of rooms. There is also Dakota Magic Casino not too far from the venue. If you would like to stay in Hankinson for the night, we encourage you to book your room as soon as possible.
