Getting There:
Flying: The closest major airport is Brownsville/Harlingen International Airport (BRO) located about 40 miles from South Padre Island. Several airlines offer commercial flights into Brownsville, with connecting flights from most major cities. Once you arrive in Brownsville, you can take a taxi, rideshare service, or shuttle to South Padre Island.
Driving: South Padre Island is accessible by following US Route 77 or Interstate 37. The drive from San Antonio -4 hours, Austin -6-hours
