Matt and I met on a website called Meetme, I loved the cat in his profile photo (Gizmo still around and kicking) and from what Matt has told me it was my eyes and smile that drew him in. Crazy to think this was 6years ago.

Matt and I went on our first date at the end of February 2017. My mom thought meeting a stranger online wasn't a good idea (looks like it was Mom ha-ha) so she made us meet in a public place, Matt on the other hand was a little late to our first date because he thought meeting a stranger online was a bad idea. We walked around a park and got to know each other and then went to Taco Bell and continued to talk.

On 03.29.23 Matt and I went to the Work out day at the K the day before opening day just to see how the boys were doing. We watched the entire practice and Matt said that he had to use the bathroom, but little did I know he was asking an Usher to "take our photo" and when he came back, he asked me to take our normal Royals photo, and the Usher said, " I'm just going to take several here" and Matt got down on one knee and asked me to marry him while people were cheering in the backround.
