Wedding Party

Clayton Anderson

Best Man

We met in middle school, spent most of our time on the baseball diamond or fixing a truck in high school and grew up into who we are now in no small credit to one another.

Scott MacTaggart

Groomsman

He's been there for me since the beginning - sometimes happily and others with some possible frustration (although we both know I was the perfect little brother as a kid).

Kyle Obal

Groomsman

He's got Katie's last name so he must be important, right? Her brother and partner in crime forever and my introduction to the hockey team of all hockey teams...Go Caps!

Darrie Burrage

Groomsman

A college friend turned brother in faith, advise connoisseur, and business partner. The main guy for when life gets real and the conversations get tough.

Daniel Weiner

Groomsman

College friend who took me in as a homeless graduate student and has let me be a part of his family ever since. His daughter, Elli, has dubbed me "Unkey Ryan" and it is, by far, my most cherished title in the world.

Dan Connell

Groomsman

Friends who lift together, stay together. We met in college, found our passion for fitness (and unfortunately in DiGiorno pizzas) which we still follow today. He lived with me through college and has had my back every day since.

Eric Hess

Groomsman

From our Lebron celebrations of every big lift to teaching me to fly fish this guy has been a rock for me. Getting to be a part of his move from "old man" in college to an awesome father of two amazing twin girls has been an honor of my life. Here's to me catching more fish than you...someday...maybe

Claire Scruggs

Matron of Honor

We were on the same team at Harwood's Summer Basketball Camp in elementary school (was it UCONN?)- who knew that would be the start of our story? At Sherwood High School, we made the Varsity Volleyball team as freshmen. Soon after that, we spent our weekends in my basement room eating Domino's thin crust pizza, and watching movies. As seniors in high school, we were both recruited to play volleyball at St. Mary's College of Maryland. When we both decided that was where we wanted to go, everyone advised us against being roommates. We proved everyone wrong when we became as close as any two people could be, which we remain today. I'm so honored to be able to call Claire my best friend, and Matron of Honor!

Michelle Lapp

Bridesmaid

She became my first friend, at roughly the age of 3. From tumbling around at our brothers' baseball games, to encouraging our neighborhood parents to have "Happy Hour" in the court, so we could play past dark, we have been there for each other at every stage of life. Our most proud moment of friendship is recruiting my dad to help us (me, Michelle, and Michelle's sister, Allison) make a movie where we pretended we were the Spice Girls- Michelle and I agree now, that my dad is a saint. From living in Colorado, and Michelle living in South Carolina, we don't get to see each other often, but when we do, it's as if we haven't skipped a beat. I'm so excited that I get to say my "first friend" will be standing next to me as I enter a new stage of my life.

Andi Latimer

Bridesmaid

I met Andi in high school, where we quickly became friends after playing volleyball and softball together. When Andi moved away to Colorado to attend Colorado State University, I always said I would visit her. So when I did, I fell in love with Colorado, and looked for every opportunity to get back. Surprise, surprise... I made it back to Colorado, and Andi has been helping me get my life together ever since. From walking the pups, having "This is Us" or "Game of Thrones" date nights, to "running errands" at TJ MAXX, she has been a constant in my life. Not to mention, Andi knows me and Ryan best, as a couple. It's a no brainer that I would ask Andi to be by my side on my wedding day.

Michelle Hudson

Bridesmaid (Honorary)

Even though she can't be there on the big day, Michelle was quickly chosen to be a bridesmaid. I knew of Michelle in high school, but got to know her better when she started dating my cousin, Steve - I still credit myself for getting them together that fateful day at Taco Bell. Now, she's more like a sister and you can find us at family gatherings, talking or laughing in a corner. I have also spent many family vacations in the OBX, bunking up with Michelle, where we fell asleep listening to the sweet sweet sounds of snoring. We will miss her on the wedding day, but luckily, she will be a part of mine and Ryan's life for the long haul.

Krissy Obal

Bridesmaid

In high school, I got used to hearing about Krissy from my brother, Kyle, who used to drive me to school. Almost everyday, Kyle would say "there's Krissy D'Amico's house"..."that's where Krissy D'Amico lives". I quickly realized that my brother had a crush. About 10 years after high school, I get a phone call from my brother saying "Guess who I'm dating?... Krissy D'Amico!". Now, I'm honored to call Krissy my sister-in-law, and a bridesmaid. Krissy and I hit it off quickly and she was such an easy addition to our family. I'm so excited that Krissy will be standing with me as I walk down the aisle in September!

Sheela Da Silva

Junior Bridesmaid

Sheela is Ryan's younger cousin, and the light of their family. She is an amazing soccer player, whose life reminds me of my own, when I was her age... practicing her sport, going to clinics, playing games and tournaments. When I met Sheela, you could immediately see how much her family adores her. It was an easy choice to ask Sheela to be a Junior Bridesmaid. I always look forward to seeing Sheela at family events, and I'm thrilled that such an important person in Ryan's family will be an important part of our big day!

Hilary Hess

Bridesmaid

I've only known Hilary for about 2 years, but sometimes you just know when people were meant to be in your life. Hilary is one of those people. She is married to Eric Hess, who is one of Ryan's groomsmen, and they have two adorable twin girls. I met Hilary on the 4th of July, when Ryan and I first started dating. Eric and Hilary were so quick to welcome me into their home, and I've always felt like I have known the two of them for years. Needless to say, Hilary and I have bonded over our many eye rolls as Ryan and Eric are off talking about working out. I can't wait for more memories to come with the Hess Family, and Ryan and I are honored to have the both of them standing with us as we enter into such an important part of our lives.

Jesse Weiner

Bridesmaid

Jesse has been a part of mine and Ryan's relationship from the start. After all, Ryan has lived with the Weiner family for a couple of years, and Jesse's husband, Dan, is also one of Ryan's groomsmen. Not to mention, their sweet, adorable, 3 year-old daughter, Elli, will be the flower girl in our wedding. Jesse and Dan have always been so kind to include me and Ryan in their family outings, and they feel more like family members to us than friends. I am thrilled that the family that has been there with me and Ryan since the beginning, will be there with us as we begin our new life as a married couple.
