It all began in September of 2017, on a cruise ship somewhere in the middle of the ocean. We were just 14 and 15, two teens meeting for the first time in the ship’s teen club. A chance encounter, a few shared laughs, and then the cruise ended—but life clearly had other plans. Nine months later, fate stepped in again. On a completely different vacation in Hilton Head, we ran into each other. Another coincidence? Even then, we couldn’t have known what was ahead. Fast forward to September 2020. We were older, wiser (well, a little), and ready to give this something real. We officially started dating, and our journey truly began. Since then, we’ve built a life full of adventures—traveling, starting our careers, getting the sweetest dog, and making a million memories together. Through it all, we’ve laughed hard, grown stronger, and loved deeply. Almost five years later, in June of 2025, we found ourselves back where it all began—on a cruise, this time to the Bahamas. On June 10, during what we thought were just family beach photos in Ocean Cay, John surprised us all by getting down on one knee. With the waves behind us and our loved ones around us, we took the next step in our forever! Now, here we are: young, in love, and so excited to begin the rest of our lives together!!
