Let's celebrate!

Across the quad in high school, they had no idea what the future held, but they both knew what they were looking for. So they set out into the world, in their own directions, eyes wide open... Twenty years later, the one and only Chris Copp suggested they all get dinner while Oaks was in San Francisco for the weekend. For reasons only Chris can share, he wasn’t able to make it to dinner, and it ended up being just the two of them. With nothing to hide and a long time history to catch up on, the dinner was filled with laughter and connection. And as they say, timing is everything… and it just so happened that the timing was perfect. For over a year, the two flew between SF and Denver in a long distance relationship. And when the time was right, Casey “went to see about a girl” (as he loves to say), leaving his home of 16 years in SF. In Denver, they got engaged after two years, and then it was Oakley’s turn to follow a boy to Vermont. But if you ask her directly, she'll tell you, “It's all about timing... We brought each other home.” And here they are, after years of searching, back on the east coast where they started, having found what they were looking for.
