Q & A

Question

what time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you plan to arrive by 2:15 PM so you have plenty of time to park, hop on the shuttle, find your seat, and get settled in before the ceremony begins. If you’re coming from town, the drive along the North Shore is about an hour, so we recommend allowing a little extra time for traffic.

Question

Where is parking available?

Answer

Free parking is available at Waimea Valley (first lot on the left). Look for signs indicating Sunset Ranch event parking. Shuttles will provide round trip transportation between Waimea Valley and Sunset Ranch. Shuttle Departure Schedule: 2:15 PM – Depart for venue 9:00 PM – Return to parking Announcements will be made to ensure everyone who arrived via shuttle is aware when it is time to depart.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. If you want to match our venue’s romantic garden vibes, think soft colors or florals. You can find outfit inspiration on our “What to Wear” page. Our bridal party will be in dusty rose.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation may bring a guest. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We truly love your little ones, but our ceremony and reception will be adults only, except for immediate family. We hope you can take this time to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors at Sunset Ranch. For ladies’ footwear, we recommend wedges or block heels for the grassy terrain. We also suggest bringing a light layer for the evening breeze.
