The Ceremony and Reception will both be held at The Charleston Event Center in White Bear Lake, MN. White Bear Lake is just north of St Paul.
Yes, the ceremony will be held on the terrace and lawn of the event center. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.
We ask that you kindly enter the Parlor of the event center and observe the ceremony from the windows up top until the ceremony is over. If you are unable to make it to the ceremony in time, we would still love to have you at the reception!
Yes, we have a hotel block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Paul Northeast, located in the neighboring suburb Vadnais Heights (7min drive from the wedding venue). The room block link is available on the Places to Stay tab. Other hotels and Air BnBs are available all across the metro as well if you wish to stay somewhere else during your stay in the Twin Cities. These will not be included in our room block rate.
There will be a shuttle departing from the Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Paul Northeast that will make a few trips to the venue during the hour before the ceremony. The Charleston Event Center also has a large parking lot which you can use should you wish to drive yourself. Ride share apps are also supported in the Twin Cities.
The social hour will begin once the ceremony ends, around 4:30. The reception will start roughly at 6pm.
The dinner will be a buffet style dinner. Seconds (and thirds) will be available as well.
Please specify your dietary restriction when you submit your RSVP. If you accidentally forgot to list your restriction, please notify Conner or Nyobi ASAP so we can provide the updates to our caterer.
Suites and gowns are welcome, and so are slacks, button ups, skirts, and cocktail/midi/maxi dresses. Please refrain from any white or off-white dresses. The bridesmaids will be wearing wine colored dresses. The groomsmen will be wearing navy suits with wine colored ties to match.
While we do love and enjoy your children, we want this to be your night off and to enjoy the reception! Please no children under the age of 10.
