Black tie optional/cocktail/garden party attire. We encourage guests to dress up for the occasion while keeping comfort in mind. Please consider footwear suitable for grass and uneven ground, as high heels may be difficult to navigate. August afternoons in Michigan can be warm, so we recommend lightweight fabrics and dressing for the weather.
Parking will be available behind the barn. From there, guests may take a wagon ride to the ceremony site or enjoy a short walk through the property. Please note that transportation to the ceremony area takes a few minutes, so we recommend arriving no later than 3:10 PM to allow plenty of time to park and make your way to your seat. Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a grassy field. For your comfort, fans and sunglasses will be provided.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Black tie optional/cocktail/garden party attire. We invite guests to dress in attire that feels both festive and comfortable for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to return to the barn for cocktail hour. While we spend some time taking family and wedding photos, we invite you to relax, mingle, and enjoy a selection of appetizers and beverages. Cocktail hour will take place in the same location as the reception, so once you've settled in, you can sit back and enjoy the celebration!
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Black tie optional/cocktail/garden party attire. We invite guests to dress in attire that feels both festive and comfortable for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration. As temperatures can cool after sunset, a light sweater or jacket may be helpful.
Dinner will be catered by Finley’s Grill & Smokehouse and will feature sirloin steak tips, smoked chicken breast, pasta Alfredo, seasonal vegetables, house salad, and fresh rolls. Following the ceremony, we will celebrate in a large open-air barn. The barn features oversized garage doors that will remain open throughout the evening to provide plenty of fresh air and airflow. Please note that the reception space is not air conditioned.
