Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

June 8th, 2025. You MUST RSVP via this website.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline and still would like to attend?

Answer

We have to submit a final count to our vendors and venue by a certain time. Unfortunately, if you miss the deadline, you will not be able to attend.

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the children in our wedding party/immediate family at our ceremony and reception. Thank you for understanding. We genuinely hope you can still join us.

Question

Can I have a plus one?

Answer

We are excited to have you. Please note plus ones are limited to spouses, fiancés, and long-term partners, OR a close relative of your choice. Please be mindful this is a very intimate event and a sacred moment for Nyla & Deonte.

Question

Where should we send out wedding gifts? Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

As we embark on this exciting journey, your support is what we value the most. If you’re considering a gift, a monetary gift would be sincerely appreciated as we start our journey together and move internationally. We will accept cash, check, cashapp, apple pay, paypal and zelle. You may send prior to the wedding or bring a card on the day of the wedding.

Question

Where is the ceremony location?

Answer

Clearwater Beach Second Street - Near the Hyatt Regency (pink hotel)

Question

What time is the ceremony scheduled to start and end?

Answer

6:30pm-7:30pm

Question

Where is the reception location?

Answer

Crystal Ballroom Clearwater

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to start and end?

Answer

8pm-1am

Question

What time should guest arrive?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to the wedding ceremony as parking at Clearwater Beach on the weekend can be tricky and timely and we would love for our guests to be seated as we are on a time schedule. Guests should head to the reception immediately post ceremony to indulge in cocktail hour drinks, food and festivities.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is free parking onsite at the Crystal Ballroom, but not the ceremony. For the beach ceremony, you may utilize Clearwater city street parking or a hotel parking deck or paid parking lot. We HIGHLY recommend Uber to avoid excessive time looking for parking spaces near the beach because Clearwater beach is super busy on Saturdays and to freely drink at the wedding reception as we will have an open bar. Please drive and arrive safely! WE DO NOT CONDONE DRUNK DRIVING! Police are heavy in Clearwater especially near the beach!

Question

Will the reception be in doors or outdoors?

Answer

Reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Florida weather is very unpredicatable! Let's pray for perfect weather. However, if there is going to be inclement weather, we will try to anticipate this ahead of time. In this case, the ceremony will be moved inside to the reception venue. Please expect hotter temperatures and possibly humidity, but note that it is a sunset wedding so we will be outside during the coolest part of the day. We will be in contact if anything needs to be changed or updated.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Join us for “Romance at Sunset” as you dress in soft shades of nude, beige, champagne, pale copper, rust, peach, gold and light coral. Refrain from wearing sequins, blush, pink, ivory, cream, and white. No exceptions. The dress code is Beach formal.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

At the beach, we would love for our guests to join us as we indulge our toes in the sand, but feel free to wear sandals, flip flops or any shoes you feel comfortable in. Please wear comfortable shoes for our reception. Our venue does not allow people to be barefoot, so if you decide to wear heels, bring a change of shoes so you can hit the dance floor comfortably!

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

At the beach ceremony, feel free to sit wherever you would like. There will be reserved seating for the bridal party and family of the bride and groom in the first few rows. Upon arrival at the reception, there will be a seating chart. If you have seating requests, please submit when sending in your RSVP accommodations.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar featuring specialty drinks representing the couple. Although, the bar is for DRINKS only, no SHOTS are allowed.

Question

Who do I contact about dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please contact Nyla or Deonte about dietary restrictions.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

During our ceremony, we ask that people refrain from the use of phones. We ask that you make sure your phone is on SILENT during the ceremony. As for our reception, of course! We love for you to. Please use our hashtag #kickingitwiththekelleys when posting and our Facebook/Instagram filters.

Question

If we have other questions/request who do we contact?

Answer
