Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The Lincoln Center. 417 West Magnolia in Downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. At The Lincoln Center, more than 165,000 people find connection through culture, creativity and celebrations at over 800 events annually. Owned and operated by the City of Fort Collins since 1978, The Lincoln Center is one of Northern Colorado's premier venues for performing arts, special events, visual arts, weddings, and corporate meetings. Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is New Year's cocktail attire.... Bubbles and Boots. Wear your cowboy boots and denim or sequins and pearls. We want you to be comfortable and ready to dance!

Question

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

Shane's name is the theme! Nye. The theme party of our lives! N-Y-E. New Year's Eve!! We're celebrating with Bubbles & Boots. (think champagne and your favorite cowboy boots) Look forward to Wyoming Country with a little New Years sparkle!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It's Colorado. December in Colorado. Average high on NYE is around 45 degrees, with average lows falling to 20 degrees. Bring a coat... and a scarf. We could have winter snow or clear skies.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Being that we're planning an evening ceremony on NYE, it is likely we'll say "I Do!" indoors. But in the chance that we have a beautiful evening with clear skies, we will exchange vows under the stars. We'll be sure to update all guests on the details for the ceremony so you can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the ceremony (around 7:40pm). For parking options at the Lincoln Center visit: https://lctix.com/parking

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location accessible?

Answer

The Lincoln Center is committed to providing a wide range of accessibility features. Every exterior entrance is accessible. There is an elevator to access the second floor of the building. Parking spaces for those with credentials are located in the south lot, Mulberry Pool lot, as well as along the streets in several spaces.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we invite you to our reception and New Year's Eve party! The wedding party and family will take a few pictures. Guests can head straight into the reception hall where we will be serving hors d'evours and drinks.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We're excited to be working with Tracie and her team from Fresh Plate Catering out of LOVEland, Colorado. She's created a menu of party snacks and sweet treats that features some of our favorite foods. We will not be serving a full dinner. We have great recommendations for downtown locations if you'd like to make reservations for a special NYE dinner before the wedding and reception. We will be hosting the bar for our celebration managed by Sapphire events.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Fresh Plate catering will offer a variety of options to meet MOST special diet requests. Items will be labeled so guests can make their selections to best fit their needs.

Question

Will transportation be provided between the reception and our hotel?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle service with NOCO Party Bus. The bus will make a loop between hotels we've recommended and the Lincoln Center. More details on the shuttle bus will be posted soon!

Question

Can we take and post pictures at the wedding on social media?

Answer

We are planning an UNPLUGGED Ceremony! Please turn OFF your cameras and devices during the ceremony. We'd rather see your happy smiles and lovely faces. We've hired Bridget Burnett Photography to capture the magic and this significant milestone. But we encourage you to take pictures during the reception. Please use our social media tag so we can view your photos and enjoy the moments you capture. #RingingintheNYE

Question

What should I do if I can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. We'd love for you to record a message in our "After the Tone" guest book. We'll share details on how to participate even if you can't attend the celebration!

Question

I still have questions... what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

You can reach us by email, phone or messenger. We look forward to hearing from you and helping however we can! Amanda 970.231.0316 - Shane 307.851.0891
