If you're looking to pick up some coastal souvenirs, definitely check out the shops in Scituate Harbor. Goodies II is our favorite antique shop!
Minot Beach is one of our favorites in the town of Scituate. We recommend bundling up and taking a walk along the beach at low tide. On clear days, you can see Provincetown across Cape Cod Bay and the Minot Lighthouse just north.
Egypt Beach is another great spot for a winter beach walk! If you're looking to pick up some beach rocks or beautiful shells, you'll likely be in luck here!
Peggotty Beach is our Scituate go-to beach. It's a short walk from downtown Scituate Harbor, sitting between Second and Third Cliff. Peggotty offers quintessential New England vibes, and despite the cold, you may even catch some surfers off the beach.
The number of times that we've been to TK's is countless... No matter how you feel about Boston sports, you're guaranteed to overhear a conversation about the Bruins, Pats or Celtics. The view of the harbor and the summertime deck seating isn't too shabby either.
The South Shore is full of historical sites to visit, one of which is Lawson Tower. About a 5minute drive from the harbor, Lawson Tower offers beautiful views of the local area. It is one of the most expensive water towers in the world, modeled after German castles.
A beautiful walk stretching from the harbor to James Landing, the driftway offers gorgeous views of the North River and one of our favorite local golf courses, Widow's Walk.
If you're looking to check out another one of the south shore towns, swing through Cohasset! There are several boutique stores, ranging from women's clothes to outdoor gear. There are also plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, and pubs in the area as well.
