Greg and I first met in November of 2019 at Mayo Clinic. In 2020, I "ran" into Greg on the Medical Telemetry unit; I tried making small talk with him and wanted to see if he remembered me from our first interaction, but he paid no attention to me what-so-ever (rude, I know). Fast forward to the end of summer 2022--I had a girls night with Em, Erica, and Jenna. We ate, drank (probably too much) wine, watched a movie, and decided to sign me up on a dating app. I woke up the next morning with notifications- one of them from Greg :) We talked for a few hours that day and I realized he was the guy I ran into in the hospital, not once but twice (I mean, what are the odds)! At this point it felt like a sign. On our first and second dates, we spent our time outdoors doing one of our favorite things-- hiking. Since then, Greg and I have been inseparable; we've been able to spend our favorite holidays together, spend quality time doing the things we love, and travel to Iceland (where we became engaged on June 25th). We are so thankful that our lives intertwined again and try to never take the time we have together for granted. We can't wait to be married!
