Come Celebrate with Us!

John and Georgia met at the Red River Valley Fair while attending a concert. He asked to buy her and a friend a drink. During the concert they hung out and talked, getting to know one another. When the concert was done a random guy told them that they made a cute couple to which they just looked at each other and smiled. They spent the summer going out and spending time with each other and then one Thursday on the Windbreak dance floor Georgia knew that John was the one who she had always prayed to find. Later that night John asked her to be his girlfriend and ended up locking himself out of his pickup which started all of their adventures together.

After dinner at The Green Mill, John suggested going to look at the Christmas lights set up along Lake Bemidji. The two walked around for a bit but it was cold and windy so Georgia was walking a little too fast. It had just started snowing and John asked Georgia to stop walking and stand with him on a bridge that was all wrapped up in red and white lights to look like a candy cane. He told her how he had something that'd been burning a hole in his pocket for awhile and asked if she would marry him. With tears in her eyes, Georgia smiled and said yes!
