We're Getting Married!

All it took was a broken refrigerator and a 6-pack of ice cold Eagle Park. Drew moved into the apartment across from mine in the spring of 2023. I'd heard mention of the landlord's son moving in and my favorite neighbor Gale took it upon herself to ask him if he was single, making sure to let him know a cute girl lived right across the hall. It didn't take long for us to meet after he moved in, but it wasn't until June that we really had a moment to chat. My refrigerator broke and landlord-Jim, and his son were going to move in the new one for me. I did some investigation and made sure to have Jim's favorite beer chilled and ready when they showed up. Jim was impressed with the beer, and Drew was impressed when he spotted my TOOL vinyl. We hit it off and Jim needed to run home for something he "forgot" for a HALF HOUR. As I suspected, that was intentional and it worked. Not long after, Drew was at my door to ask me out. There's so much more to how we met, and even more ahead of us.
