Maiyan is a traditional pre-wedding ceremony in Punjabi culture and is a ritualistic way to prepare the bride and groom for their upcoming marriage. During the Maiyan ceremony, a turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom's skin. This paste is believed to cleanse and purify the skin. Family members and friends take turns applying the paste on the couple's face, arms, and legs. The Maiyan symbolizes the blessings and well-wishes of the family for the couple's upcoming marriage. Light bites and refreshments to be served.

The Sangeet is a festive celebration filled with food, dance, and performances. Family members and friends from both the bride's and groom's sides come together to sing, dance, celebrate the upcoming union, and express their happiness and excitement for the couple.
