Question

Is the wedding ceremony held in the same location as the reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be held outside, right behind the barn (weather permitting). The reception will take place inside the barn. In the chance of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the barn.

Can I take pictures and use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to take pictures during the reception (and don't forget to use our hashtag #nutandboldt!), however, we would ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. Thanks!

Where did the hashtag #nutandboldt come from?

Answer

For those of you that know Sara well, you know her father's nickname for her has been "peanut" or "nut" since she was a little baby. Being that John also loves creating puns, especially when it comes to poking fun at someone's name, he quickly made a joke about us being "nut and boldt" shortly after we started dating. It stuck.

Where should we park at the venue?

Answer

Please park along the left side of the barn as you enter onto the property. There will be signs to direct you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one is not already listed on your RSVP form, please contact Sara & Nathan to check.

Are there specific hotels with rooms blocked off for the wedding?

Answer

Due to the more remote location of the wedding venue, we have not blocked off any rooms in specific hotels. There are many different options, varying in price, around the Trussville, Gardendale, and Birmingham areas to suit your needs. Please also check the "travel" tab for our recommendations.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 2:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 2:30pm CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. The menu is still being determined at this time. Please let us know beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Will there be alcohol served at the reception?

Answer

No. The venue does not permit any alcohol on the premises. We kindly ask that you refrain from drinking or bringing any alcohol with you.
