Want to transport yourself to a Hawaiian Island tiki resort? You never know what the weather may hold in March, so forget about it with a tropical drink in a 3-story island paradise. It's a fun spot to hang with a group. Not to mention, the huli huli ribs and mac 'n cheese are *chef's kiss*. We do recommend making a reservation.

Whether you want a breakfast to go, or a cozy spot to eat, you will not be disappointed. Fresh, local eatery specializing in breakfast and lunch only. Their vanilla latte and breakfast burrito will rock your socks off.

Meyer May House

450 Madison Avenue Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
, (616) 246-4821

Grand Rapids is home to some beautiful architecture and the preservation of these homes is a sight to see. Both the Heritage Hill District and the Cherry Hill district are great walking neighborhoods to see these historic homes. In particular, take a tour of tis Frank Lloyd Wright home: "The Meyer May House was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1908 for a wealthy clothier. The original structure was a modest-sized Prairie-style home that was gradually altered and added to over the years. The home was later purchased and painstakingly restored to its original form after two years of research. Today, the building is open to the public at no charge, complete with original and reproduction furniture. Visitors can also admire the 108 windows and skylights, products of Wright's love for using leaded glass. There is also a film that chronicles the history and restoration of the property, including its grounds, which now sit as they did when the house was first built."

Amway Grand Plaza Hotel

187 Monroe Avenue Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

A gem of a hotel and historic luxury. Not only is it beautiful, but it boasts a rooftop restaurant (MDRD), a steakhouse (Ruth's Chris), and a spa. A reservation is needed for all of the above.
