Matron of Honor
Tatiana is the closest thing the bride has to a sister. Her only cousin on her father’s side, they grew up spending every break together and viewing each other as immediate family. She is probably the smartest person the bride knows and has always been who she wanted to be when she grew up. Obviously she has also known the bride since birth and was the first person to hear about the groom and every significant moment in their relationship. *Tati - thank you for your support and advice over the years. Love you always
Bridesmaid
Safia is the brides sister in law and she thanks her big brother every day that he brought her into their family. Safia is bright, creative, and kind. She brought a warmth and gentleness to the family that truly made us better. Once she was in our lives it was clear that she and Chris were meant to be. Not just because of the strength of their love but also how naturally she fits into the Nuñez clan. Her guidance and example makes a great difference to our lives. *Saf - thank you for becoming my big sister and embracing the most important job of any big sister - fashion icon
Bridesmaid
Ashira has known the bride since they were ragamuffins in middle school PE. She was a formative figure in building the brides sense of whimsy and optimism. Their friendship has lasted the test of time and distance. She built her own friendship with the groom when they all lived together in New York. Many lucrative business ideas were concocted in this time. *Ashira thank you so much for the joy and baking adventures you bring to our lives
Bridesmaid
Molly met the bride when they were both studying abroad in London during the junior year of College. Together they qued for endless West End shows and geeked over their many mutual interests. She was integral in supporting the bride and groom through their first big stretch of long distance (which ended up being a significant portion of their early relationship). *Molly- thank you for staying part of our lives and being part of this milestone

Martinique met the bride at Maggie Flannigan, their acting conservatory. Fresh out of college and deep in the trenches of Meisner study, they trauma bonded in the back of their class. Together their built their artistry and explored the depths of what drove them. Through this program that was known to "break your relationships" they both grew stronger with their respective partners and built a friendship for life. *Martinique thank you for all of your love and support over the years and staying with me even as I left the profession
Bridesmaid
Sarah met the bride at her second school during her second year teaching and she truly would not be the professional she is today without her. When they first met at Crooms, it was love at first sight. Together they built a partnership and she scooped the bride into her growing theater program, changing her life for good. Thanks to Sarah the couple found their home and community in Sanford and have since built something that feels permanent. As her work wife (even if they don't TECHNICALLY work together any more), they support each other and foster a dedication to these chaotic careers they have chosen. *Sarah, I truly did not think I would ever make real friends in teaching and adulthood and you proved me wrong in the best way. Thank you
Officiant
Chris - big brother extraordinaire and superb writer and performer. It means to world to JD and Karina that he has agreed to officiate for them. Obviously, as the bride's big brother he has been a formative part of their lives. When the couple discussed what to do for an officiate they knew they wanted someone who was meaningful to them and would be able to match their style. Anyone who has known Chris knows that he has a way of expressing himself that helps people see the wit, humor, and heart of any situation. (the number of times he tells a story that you were in and you have to go- I didn't know I was that funny?!) We know he is the perfect choice to balance the humor and love. *Chris - thank you so much for being the best big brother a girl could ask for
