Local Foods Upper Kirby

One of our favorite bars in the downtown area. Great place to start your Main Street bar crawl! Do yourself a favor and try the old fashioned. Fun fact, this bar has Houston's first elevator which is now believed by many to be haunted.

Dean's Downtown

The bar where we first met. Fun establishment with craft cocktails. Located in the Houston Heights area.

Better Luck Tomorrow

Great cocktail menu and whiskey selection located in the Montrose area. Lots of other food and drink options nearby.

Anvil Bar & Refuge

One of our favorite post -run carb loads. Here you will find some delicious, hearty ramen. Also located in the Montrose area.

Ramen Tatsu-ya

Visit this place for some crazy unique taco creations. We recommend the spicy tikka chicken, the Cuban pig, shrimp and grits and Annatto shredded pork.

Velvet Taco

Nice green space - numerous museums and the Houston zoo within walking distance.

Hermann Park

One of our favorite running trails. Highly recommend if you are looking to burn some calories and get some fresh air!
