If you’re making a weekend out of the trip, the Sunapee area has plenty to explore. There are beautiful hiking trails, scenic mountain drives, lake views, covered bridges, and charming New England towns nearby. Depending on the timing, there may still be some fall foliage around the mountains and lake area. The harbor area is great for walking, shopping, or grabbing coffee, and there are plenty of spots nearby for boating, sightseeing, and outdoor activities. Things are a bit spread out in the area, so we wanted to share a few favorites to help make planning easier!
