It all began in the most unexpected place: at work! Angel hired Jake, and what started as a simple professional connection quickly grew into something special. Six months later, we took the leap and went on our first date. Despite the occasional hiccup (like Angel having to lay off Jake twice), our connection was undeniable and only grew stronger. As we built our life together, our family expanded too. First came our “son,” Denver the cat, followed by our second fur-baby, Avalanche. And, of course, we can’t forget our fish, Nugget—yes, on his sixth incarnation! Together, we fill our days with cheering for Colorado sports teams, exploring new bars, breweries, and brunch spots, and, whenever possible, traveling (even if it means occasionally getting stranded in blizzards or tropical storms). Our time together has been filled with laughter, job changes, new adventures, and, above all, love. It’s been a journey of ups, downs, and everything in between, and now we’re so excited to share this next chapter with all of you!
