Things To Do

Whether you're staying in the city or in NJ, here are a few things to check out in the area!
Greenwich Village

Greenwich Village

79 Macdougal St, New York, NY 10012

Hands down the best neighborhood in the city, state, & country (YES Nicole is BIASED, but its also very true). One of George & Nicole's favorite past times is wandering around the village, especially in the sweet summertime. Take a stroll along all of the cute blocks, check out some of the local shops like Village Records & Raffetto's. Take a walk down MacDougal St. and see where Glenn's famous restaurant one stood (reminisce or laugh at old memories made in the restaurant). If you really feel like exploring, walk on over to Washington Square Park & people watch, or stop by Houston St. Park & jump into a pick-up basketball game with some locals!

Joe's Pizza

Joe's Pizza

7 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014
, (212) 366-1182

If you're hungry after the ceremony, feel free to grab a slice (or two) from our favorite pizza shop! If you really want to get crazy, grab a slice here & than grab a pie from John's down the block!

Faicco’s Italian Specialties

Faicco’s Italian Specialties

260 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10014
, (212) 243-1974

If you're really hungry and pizza just isn't enough, feel free to pull a Glenn and head over to Faicco's to order a 2 lb Italian Combo Hero. If you're really daring- grab a Prosciutto ball or two; you won't be disappointed!

Peculier Pub

Peculier Pub

145 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012
, (212) 353-1327

Probably one of the oddest bars on Bleecker Street, Peculiar Pub is a hidden little gem that serves over 500 types of beer as well as wine / well drinks. If you're not too intimidated by the beer cap murals, stop in, grab a drink, & play a couple of tunes on the juke box!

Broadway

Broadway

1681 Broadway, New York, NY 10019
, (212) 239-6200

While George & Nicole seldom go above 14th Street (unless they're heading to Westchester), Broadway is BACK, baby! If you're spending some extra time in the city leading up to / after the wedding, check out one of the fabulous shows on Broadway! Undecided? Feel free to check out the TKTS booth in the center of Times Square for discounted show tickets!

One World Trade Center

One World Trade Center

285 Fulton Street, New York, NY 10007
, (844) 696-1776

Iconic to say the least - stroll down along the water to Battery Park, where you can pay your respects at the 9/11 memorial, and then head on up to the Freedom Tower's Observation Deck to see panoramic views of all of NYC.

Presby Iris Gardens

Presby Iris Gardens

474 Upper Mountain Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043
, (973) 783-5974

Close to both the hotel & reception venue, take a leisurely stroll through the Presby gardens & see over 1,500 varieties & over 100,000 blooms!

Cedar Grove Park

Cedar Grove Park

199 Fairview Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009

Unlike NYC parks, check out the Cedar Grove Park if you wish to wander in meadows of grass, trees, & other forms of nature - its guaranteed to be more green than Washington Square!

McDonald's

McDonald's

460 U.S. 46, Fairfield, NJ 07004
, (973) 882-1251

It wouldn't be George & Nicole if this wasn't listed on here. Grab some mcnuggets & cheers to the bride & groom!

For all the days along the way
