Hands down the best neighborhood in the city, state, & country (YES Nicole is BIASED, but its also very true). One of George & Nicole's favorite past times is wandering around the village, especially in the sweet summertime. Take a stroll along all of the cute blocks, check out some of the local shops like Village Records & Raffetto's. Take a walk down MacDougal St. and see where Glenn's famous restaurant one stood (reminisce or laugh at old memories made in the restaurant). If you really feel like exploring, walk on over to Washington Square Park & people watch, or stop by Houston St. Park & jump into a pick-up basketball game with some locals!
If you're really hungry and pizza just isn't enough, feel free to pull a Glenn and head over to Faicco's to order a 2 lb Italian Combo Hero. If you're really daring- grab a Prosciutto ball or two; you won't be disappointed!
Probably one of the oddest bars on Bleecker Street, Peculiar Pub is a hidden little gem that serves over 500 types of beer as well as wine / well drinks. If you're not too intimidated by the beer cap murals, stop in, grab a drink, & play a couple of tunes on the juke box!
While George & Nicole seldom go above 14th Street (unless they're heading to Westchester), Broadway is BACK, baby! If you're spending some extra time in the city leading up to / after the wedding, check out one of the fabulous shows on Broadway! Undecided? Feel free to check out the TKTS booth in the center of Times Square for discounted show tickets!
