Gerri and John Nuckols met in Hawaii in 1992 and have been married for 28 years! Gerri loves crafting and caring for her patients as a Physical Therapist and John is retired from the hospitality industry and enjoys cooking the most delicious food for him and his family!
Valerie and Mark Lively
Mother and Stepfather of the Groom
Valerie and Mark were reunited at a high school reunion and fell in love. We welcomed Mark into the family in November 2023 and got lots of inspiration from their beautiful wedding!! Valerie is retired from teaching and loves to craft and volunteer at the animal shelter in Conroe, TX.
Andrew and Winnie Aman
Father and Stepmother of the Groom
Andrew and Winnie got married in 2011 joining their beautiful families together. They enjoyed traveling together and having adventures from being at weddings across the world together to cozy cabins with their family in Big Bend National Park. Andrew passed away in 2020 and is deeply missed. We are so grateful to have Winnie’s love, organizational skills and support as a part of our wedding, and we know Andrew has been with us every step of the way. We are honored to have a seat for them both at our wedding and excited to celebrate their love along with our own.
Christyn Harkins

Christyn and Gianna met in 2006 when they were in the same 2nd grade class. They were best friends attached at the hip for many years until having to live in different cities for college. Christyn graduated from Texas Tech University and is in her 3rd year of med school in Houston. We are so proud of her!
Victoria Huggler
Bridesmaid
Victoria and Gianna graduated from Trinity University together and were introduced by a dear mutual friend. Serendipitously they had plans to move to Charlotte, NC the same summer after graduation and became close friends while exploring the new city together. Victoria just completed 3 years of teaching and enjoys hiking, trying new recipes with friends, and cuddling with her adorable cat, Sherlock. Victoria was an integral part of helping Michael with his engagement proposal and keeping it a surprise from the bride to be!
Lucie Paradis
Bridesmaid
Lucie and Gianna met in 2021 when they both moved to Charlotte, NC and became roommates. Gianna was nervous to have a new roommate, but quickly learned that Lucie would become one of her best friends. Lucie and Gianna share a love for crafting, sitting in parks, and reality TV. Lucie now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland where she is working with the Scottish Youth Parliament and is an advocate for the queer community. Gianna and Michael are so excited for Lucie to stand with them on their special day!
Lauren Aman
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Michael's twin sister and Gianna's long time friend. Lauren and Gianna were friends in high school and Lauren helped to introduce Gianna and Michael senior year before the Homecoming dance. Lauren is living in Seattle, WA with her partner Jack and lovely pets and plants. Lauren loves to spend time outdoors camping, climbing, and exploring with her friends. The happy couple are so grateful to have her in their life!
Natalie Aman

Natalie is Michael's younger sister and has become a close friend of Gianna's over the years. Natalie lives in Austin, TX with her partner, Greyson, and their dogs. Natalie works with children at the Jewish Community Center and enjoys exploring the city with friends. We are so excited to celebrate with her!
Kyle Holub
Best Man
Kyle and Michael have been close friends all through out childhood, growing close over shared interests in fishing, soccer, and the outdoors. They were roommates with Lucas and Davis while attending Texas A&M together. The 2 have remained best friends, even after moving to different states. Kyle now lives and works in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs
Davis Karwoski

Michael and Davis have know each other since they played soccer together on the Mighty Eagles as 6 year olds. Their friendship really took off when Davis wrote in Michaels yearbook at the end of the school year "I'm going to catch more fish than you this summer". They spent almost every weekend fishing together throughout the rest of middle and high school. Davis and Michael studied Mechanical Engineering together at Texas A&M as well.
Lucas Preston

Lucas and Michael have been close since elementary school where they met at the after school program playing football together. They later attended Texas A&M together. Bonding over their similar taste in music, this drove them to take not one, but 2 road trips to Oklahoma for concerts and music festivals.
Matt Ruka
Groomsman
Michael and Matt met while they were working together as counselors at Camp Allen during the summer of 2017 while on a ride into town during off time. They were co-counselors later that summer, and have been great friends since. They worked at camp together the following 4 years as counselors and members of senior staff. Matt now works as the Assistant manager at Camp Allen
Sabrina

Sabrina became Michael's sister in 2011 and we are so happy to have her be a part of our special day. Sabrina lives in Birmingham, AL with her cat and dogs! Sabrina loves gaming and trying new food!
Sarah Sauder

Gianna met Sarah through their music therapy career paths crossing. Sarah and her husband Dan have been close friends with Michael and Gianna over the last 2 years through game nights, dinner parties, and volleyball matches. Sarah and Gianna now work together at a private practice in Charlotte and recently became next-door neighbors! We are so excited to have Sarah helping to tell our story and participate in our ceremony!
Ernie
Pet of honor
Ernie is our sweet old boy that makes us smile every day. He has a little (a lot of) anxiety (don't we all), so he will not be joining us on our big day, but will be relaxing at home on his couch!
