I met Duncan on June 9th, 2018 and Stacy could immediately tell we had a bond. For the next couple of years that just became more and more apparent. Duncan is our five-year-old, super-hero loving, Lego enthusiast, all-around awesome, son that we are delighted to share our special day with. He has been the number 1 fan of our relationship from minute 1 and has been looking forward to this day for just as long as we have. In fact, he is so excited that he walks up and tells random strangers "Mommy and Nick are getting married!".

Jolie is the daughter of Jenna (bridesmaid). We are so happy to have this little cutie be our flower girl!!
Casey Curll

Casey and I met in college and became known to others as "The ACYs", thanks to our names. We share a love of all things Swedish and even studied abroad together. She is one of my best friends, despite my struggle to remember her birthday for several years (I was always a day late). Casey is full of random knowledge, so if you need a witty comeback, random fact or to know what a random movie quote is from, she’s your girl.
Jake Lawrence

That younger brother that everyone hates while growing up because he got to do anything and always get away with it, and that it turns out you end up liking him later in life and do all kinds of adventures together. There is a certain bond that grows from fighting/arguing all of the time that Jake and I share. I know he would do anything for me and vice versa.

Jenna, Nick and I met at Zurich about 6 years ago. Jenna and I became instant friends and lunch buddies, but it took us a while to warm up to Nick. We all sat at the same lunch table and Nick and I fought over the same seat. Jenna and I would purposely go to lunch early so I could get the seat so we could sit by each other. We occasionally gave each other a glance whenever Nick would correct someone or say something absurd. We’d walk back to our desks saying "good luck to the girl who marries him". I'm sure Jenna's getting a good laugh now….

My giant nerd of an older brother that I grew up doing everything with. From playing video games, card games, board games, doing scooter tricks/videos, finding Legos for him (because I wasn't allowed to build them) to reading Sci-Fi, playing poker, drinking scotch, and playing golf, Jason and I have always been at a common interest for the "fun" things of life.

We met freshman year of college because she happened to be Casey's random roommate who was obsessed with Hello Kitty and Circle K. Kathleen is perhaps the biggest Illini fan I know and could always be found at the game or at the very least watching it somewhere. Our second year of college we lived in a triple with Casey where some great memories were made. Over the years we have made some great memories, such as joining a book club called the "Read and Feed", where we mostly fed, going to the movie theater to see all the Oscar nominated movies within a two-day period, and perhaps my favorite, travelling to Ireland together!!

Kevin is essentially my third brother. Growing up we spent so much time together that anybody certainly would have thought so. He is my go-to for whenever I don't feel like researching something that I know he has. I love it when he plans vacations and all I have to do is show up. At the end of the day, if I am with Kevin I can feel assured that I will have a good time.

We met in Ireland and bonded over our love of salt. We had kids about 2 months apart and she quickly became my go-to momma. She has a big heart and as her mother would say, the gift of gab since the day she was born, haha!!

I met Kyle when he moved to Lemont in 6th grade. We played baseball and football together throughout high school, but he also happens to be a video game/computer nerd like me. We did many crazy/stupid things that I should probably not put on record....Bears! He is also the first of my friends to join me in the club of fatherhood with his baby boy, Bennett.
Theresa Nitkiewicz

Theresa is my second cousin and thanks to our grandmas being sisters and best friends, we were given the opportunity to grow up together, despite living in different states. We spent a summer writing letters back and forth, but it quickly came to an end when she insulted Hanson….I’ve since forgiven her. Love you, Theresa!!

Gary and I met so long ago I honestly am not even sure how old we were. There is nothing that we won't turn into a competition and always make each other better at whatever we are playing. He knows how to be the embodiment of my excitement and can always put a smile on your face. Also, if you are ever looking for a philosophical debate, Gary is your guy.

Kelly and I started to become good friends in high school and I am so happy that Stacy let me "steal" a bridesmaid spot. Kelly is as kind-hearted as they come and has always been my biggest supporter. She knows me better than anyone (except Stacy) and when she met Stacy, she told me how she is perfect for me and I couldn't agree more.

I met Michael my freshman year at Purdue. Of all my nerdy college friends, he is the only one to also like sports in the way that I do. We spent every Sunday during football season at B-Dubs from the about 11:45-6:30 (good times). We played Halo and Super Smash Brothers more times than I could possibly count. We also love to inform people of extremely obscure, not-well known, "fake" facts.

My Aunt Rocky and I have had a special bond since I was born and I have so many fond memories with her. She and Nick hit it off when he asked her to dance at my cousin Megan’s wedding and she’s been a great supporter of us ever since. The moment Nick and I found out she is an ordained minister, we knew we wanted her to officiate our wedding. It just felt right to be married by someone who knows and loves us.
