Question

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

We expect a vast majority of those in attendance will be vaccinated by the time of the wedding. For the safety of yourself and all other guests, please make every effort to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

The venue is located at 6 Cherry Lane, Madbury, NH - it is located down a long dirt road, you can see the historic white house from the road. There is a sign that says "Powder Major's Farm" by the roadside.

Question

Can we park at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue if you'd like to drive. There will also be transportation provided from the hotel to the venue, as indicated in the Travel section.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, we have a double-decker bus that will serve as the transportation between the hotel and the venue. Please refer to the Travel page of this website for more information. Should you need to leave the event early, this bus can bring you back to the hotel as needed. There will also be a smaller shuttle bus provided by the hotel.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, floor-length dresses, or dressy jumpsuits, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. And if you are planning to wear heels, we recommend a block or wedge heel to be able to walk easier on the grass, stone, and dirt roads at the venue.

Answer

The weather this time of year is variable, it could be 60 degrees or 90 degrees. We are hoping for Sunny & 75, but please be sure to monitor the weather and dress accordingly.

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will be taking place at the same venue, the Barn at Powder Major's Farm. Please refer to the Schedule page for the address and additional venue information.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. The ceremony will be on the stone patio directly outside of the barn, the cocktail hour will be on the grass directly outside of the barn, and the reception will be inside of the barn. If there is inclement weather, then everything will be inside the barn.

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby and then attending cocktail hour. Guests can head straight from the patio to the grass area where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.”
