Matron of Honor
Samy and I met through our sorority in college and have only gotten closer as we’ve grown up. She’s always down for an adventure, whether it’s driving to get donuts in the middle of the night or flying across the country just for fun. This past summer I had the pleasure of being her maid of honor in her stunning wedding, and I can’t wait for her to be by my side at mine! Conversation topics include: Taco Bell, her dog Belle, camping, and how many times a day Noy texts her with wedding questions
Best Man
Tim and I are only 18 months apart and most brothers that close fight all the time but not us. Most of the times we don’t even have to say anything and we know what the other is thinking. He included me in everything with a smile on his face and he is always my biggest hype man. The only thing he did by himself was study abroad in Australia and he came back with a wife. Lesson learned, now we FaceTime every single day. Im not sure how I got so lucky to have such an amazing brother. I’m honored to have him as my best man. Conversation topics include: How’s he never beaten Nick at golf, studying abroad in Australia, and his 4 kids
Bridesmaid
I’ve always said that Hailey is one of those “I wish I had met you sooner” type of people. We met right before we graduated college and literally immediately bonded over how hard we made each other laugh and how similar our outlooks were on life. She is the sweetest, kindest person and I feel so grateful to have her in my life. Conversation topics include: designing tv show sets, dirt bikes, line dancing, and stagecoach
Groomsman
Nick and I have always had a special connection. I was born on his 7th birthday and he still tells me I am his favorite birthday present. I lived with him for a bit while his daughter Dani was young and now the guest room will always be “uncle Tom’s room”. Nowadays he goes on the most epic golf trips and I live vicariously through him. Maybe one day he will come to terms with the fact that it’s not the golf clubs that are broken; it’s his swing. Conversation topics include: Golfing, being a handy man, hitch hiking across Africa
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I have been tight knit since the Davis dorms! From being my date to all the college formals, to navigating adulthood and city life, Sarah’s been by my side as we’ve grown up. Even though I only get affectionate with her when I drink, she knows I love her from the bottom of my heart. P.S. Don’t get it twisted; she may be small but she is feisty. Conversation topics include: being an only child, how much the dodgers suck, anything and everything about celebrities and pop culture, and how badly she wishes she was part of the 5’10 and up club
Groomsman
He fits the oldest brother role perfectly. He was the best at everything and if he wasn’t then he would find a way to bend the rules so it would fit his skill set. He was the first of the brothers to travel the world with just a backpack, and his stories were a big factor in me wanting to create my own memories around the world. He set the standard for the Buich brothers. Conversation topics include: being the only Buich with a full head of hair, Brazilian jiu jitsu, state farm
Bridesmaid
Liana and I have been friends since the pre-pubescent and incredibly embarrassing days of sixth grade. We spent every day at school together and every single weekend together at our Jewish youth group. She knows me inside and out and I am SO fortunate to still have her by my side 15 years later! Conversation topics include: London, fostering cats from third world countries, and her passion for sunscreen
Groomsman
Our first outing together was on the slopes in Tahoe. He made sure to take it easy on me and we endured some of the craziest weather I’ve ever experienced. We also made friends with the northstar bus lady and I’m pretty sure we still have some guest passes waiting for us next time. He stops at nothing to find me shoes, ski boots or anything else that he can import from his people in China. Conversation topics include: having fun facts about literally any topic, skiing, baking
Bridesmaid
Lena is one of the most supportive people I’ve ever met. Without fail she’s the life of the party and you can always count on her to have a blast. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have had a social life in SF without her. If you don’t see her on the dance floor at the wedding, check on top of the tables… Conversation topics include: laser hats that maintain luscious curly hair, how to make friends literally anywhere, and telling surgeons how to do their job
Groomsman
I had the pleasure of living with Noy and her family during covid. No matter the day or time Ittai was always saying the most ridiculous things making us all laugh. I’ll never forget the night that he came outside in his speedo from middle school and challenged me to a swim off. Needless to say, it didn’t go well for him and I finally felt like an older brother. He is wise beyond his years and I always have a blast with him. Conversation topics include: fraternity life, graphic design, and snowboarding
Bridesmaid
Although Emma and I were friends throughout college, I realized how truly incredible of a friend she was when we moved back home and she brought me into her childhood friend group like the mama bear she is. Emma is the type of person to make you laugh so hard your stomach hurts, and be there in a heartbeat when you need her no matter what. Everyone deserves an Emma in their lives! Conversation topics include: science, peloton bootcamps, warriors, Beyoncé, being part of the 5’10 and up club
Groomsman
We were so lucky growing up. Our moms drove hours just to so we could hang out. As we got older we realized we might be unstoppable in pickup basketball. He would sneak me into the UC Berkeley gym and we would proceed to get our butts kicked for hours on end by people half our size. Our claim to fame is that we won the Wednesday night San Francisco basketball men’s league. We are still waiting for our NBA contracts. Conversation topics include: golf, law, walking across a country, and the toothpick story
Bridesmaid
Andrea, aka “Dr. Dre” has been my ride-or-die since the early days of college, and is practically a sister to me. I’m pretty sure we used to drive our friends insane when we were together because we were attached at the hip and really excelled at egging each other on and vibing off of each other’s energy. My day wouldn’t be the same without my ultimate hype woman. Conversation topics include: latin music and salsa dancing, arepas and venezuelan food, travel, and her adorable dog Goku
Groomsman
He is my OG. I met him freshman year and since then we have always been close. He is the most athletically gifted, genuine, fun loving and hard working guy I know. He was always a staple in our household growing up. I am pretty sure my parents saw him as another kid. We share too many memories to write about. He is the best friend a guy could ask for. Not sure why he chose to be friends with me way back then, but I’m glad we have shared so many fun times together. Conversation topics include: Fire fighting, being good at all sports, naming his cars
