We'd seen and spoken to each other in passing for a little over a year, attending church at Bethel Atlanta. We officially met at a mutual friend's birthday/going away party. The same group we now affectionately call our 'framily' started getting together after Saturday service for food and ultimately hanging out outside of church. Four months later after a Labor Day framily hangout, we went out on our first date and the rest was history.

After getting back from a beach retreat, we watched Game Night and talked about how it had been a while since we'd done an actual game night with the 'fram'. A couple days later we get a framily group text announcing game night, followed by what everyone was bringing to our potluck style gathering. Denise: I got there late and immediately started trying to set up the food I had brought. Even though everyone kept taking things out of my hands and there was yelling for everyone to get quiet, I literally had no clue what was going on until Jason starts talking. Our marriage was held in a small private family ceremony on 01/09/19. We are excited to celebrate with all of you soon at a wedding and reception in Atlanta. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with YOU!
