Jessica and Jennifer were basically inseparable as children. Growing up they did everything together and being only two years apart, matching outfits (and haircuts) were a staple of their childhood. No doubt they were probably mistaken for twins quite often. As they grew older, life took them in different directions. Jessica’s dream of becoming a flight attendant led her to Dallas, but no matter how busy her schedule got, she never let it come between her and Jennifer. Whether she was flying across the country or running through airport terminals, Jessica made sure to be there for her sister. She’s made countless surprise visits, showing up unannounced just to cheer Jennifer on during milestones, making her feel loved, supported, and connected no matter the distance.

Jennifer and Bethany met in 5th grade when Jennifer switched schools from Christ the King to St. Francis. Bethany welcomed the new girl with open arms and they instantly became friends. Even though Bethany had to move away after their freshman year of high school, nothing—not distance, not time—could shake what they had. For over twenty years, Bethany has been Jennifer’s ride-or-die. Her confidante, her biggest cheerleader, the one person who’s always been there to listen, laugh, and pick each other up when life gets tough. Through every major life moment, Bethany has stood by Jennifer’s side like the ultimate best friend, and that bond is as strong as ever. She's now living in Alexandria, VA, with her husband Tom and their son (and Jennifer's Godson), Jude.
Jill Bussinger

Jill, Nick's sister, is also the mother of the flower girl and one of the ring bearers. From the very beginning, Jill's friendly nature has made Jennifer feel like a part of the family. Jennifer has enjoyed getting to know her future sister-in-law over the past couple of years and she eagerly looks forward to the day she can officially call Jill "sister." Jill resides in Lawrence will her husband Taylor and their two children, Tinsley and Beckett.
Andrea Clary

Andrea is the youngest sister of Nick and resides in Lenexa, Kansas, with her husband Ben and their two children, Archer and Myla. Archer is set to be one of the ring bearers, while Myla holds the special role of Goddaughter to Nick and Jennifer. Their frequent visits to Kansas City have given Jennifer the opportunity to bond with Andrea, and she feels fortunate to welcome another sister into her life.
Amber Schubert

Amber and Jennifer first crossed paths at a mutual friend's Christmas party in December 2023. As they continued to meet, they discovered a growing number of shared interests and beliefs. They are also both involved in the same Young Professional Leagues, which includes kickball and softball. Beyond the games, their weekly meetups—whether for a run, a walk, or simply a quiet tea chat—have become an important ritual. Jennifer is beyond grateful for the genuine friend she's found in Amber.
Ryan Cornelius
Best Man
Ryan and Nick first met as freshman at Wichita State on the Track and Cross Country teams. They were assigned as roommates in the dorms. The friendship got off to a rocky start, as Ryan wasn't a fan of bunking the beds and ended up getting his own room. Their friendship progressed on, as they have been friends almost 20 years now. Despite living in Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa post college, Ryan has always done a great job keeping in touch and checking in. Jennifer and Nick have made an annual trip on July 4th to visit. When Nick was in middle school, the big family announcement was not we are going to get a puppy. Sorry Andrea (Nick's sister). Instead it was a little brother. Due to the age gap, they weren't always that close. After high school Jarrod went to Newman University in Wichita. That is when they started getting really close. Jarrod now tags along with Nick and his friends for events and joined the softball league Nick and Jennifer play in. Jarrod has an outstanding confirmation sponsor (pictured). Jarrod resides in Wichita.
Casey Stewart

Casey and Nick first met during the end of college. Nick convinced Casey to move into his house to be one of the many roommates he had over the years. Casey won the award for longest tenured after around a 10 year stay. Together they have played on many teams and activities together including softball, volleyball and cornhole. Jordan and Nick met their sophomore year of college through mutual friends on the track team. Jordan's place at Tall Oaks became a frequent hang out spot in college. Later on, Jordan became a multiple time resident at Nick's house tying their friend Will for times lived there. Justin is the brother of Jennifer. He is the kindest and most laid back guy you will meet. With family being so important to both Jennifer and Nick, there was never a doubt to want Justin be part of the wedding party. Don't challenge him at Jeopardy. If you need a pilot, he is your guy. Justin and his fiancé Sammi reside in Wichita.
Andrew Loecker

Andrew and Nick first met in 7th grade after Andrew moved to McPherson, Kansas from Thornton, Colorado. Nick has known him longer than his own brother. Nick started seeing him at Mass every week and then he joined the same summer baseball team. From there the friendship took off as Nick was frequently at Andrew's house throughout high school. Nowadays they don't keep in touch as often, but when they do the friendship never skips a beat. Jennifer and Nick go up to Kansas City annually for Andrew's annual friends and family pickleball and picnic. Reach out to him for any business IT needs. Aaron and Nick met after college. Aaron is the biggest Chief's fan you will ever meet. He is always a reliable friend and up for any concert. They play many sports together including pickleball, ultimate frisbee and softball. Shout out Ducks on the Pond, as many of their teammates will be at the wedding as well.
