It all started when we matched on a dating app in August of 2022 in Nashville, TN. I liked his photos with his big brown eyes, and he liked my video of a half-court basketball shot:) Our first date was August 20th, where we met at a small bar in Nashville for pizza and drinks. While I was waiting to meet my date for 20 minutes, Ryan was playing "connect four" on the patio by himself... lol. When he finally finished his game and gathered the courage to meet me at the bar, I charmed him with my classic order of an old fashioned (it's his favorite too). After about 7 hours, 3 bars, 12 drinks, 1 breathalyzer test, 1 scraped knee, and countless laughs, our first date was the start to many more. Ryan told his family after our third date that I was "the one", and he was right:) October 10, 2023 he surprised me (which is incredibly hard to do) at our first date spot and proposed with the most perfect ring. He decorated the space with roses, rose pedals, had music playing, hired a photographer and videographer, coordinated with both of our families (from different states) so they could be there, had dinner and drinks planned afterwards for our family and friends, and even contacted my manager at work to get me the following day off so I could spend time with my parents while they were in town. Although our first date was interesting to say the least (and is very comical now), there was something about us that was so natural and comfortable. We fit perfectly in each other's families and friend groups, and we both believe God brought us to each other in his perfect timing. We are SO excited to celebrate our love and commitment in front of God, our family, and closest friends in the place where it all started. Can't wait to see you all there!!! With love, Alex & Ryan
