Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! If your invitation is addressed to “The ___ Family,” your children are absolutely invited. That said, we also hope this can be a fun night out or a little getaway for you, so please feel free to make it a date night if you’d like. Please note: The venue includes a pool, a pond, and open acreage. For safety, the venue strongly requests that all children be closely supervised at all times.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time to park, enjoy a welcome drink, and sign our wedding booklet before seating begins. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (formal welcome). Think inspired garden: polished, colorful, and comfortable. The ceremony will be on grass, so we recommend thicker heels or wedges. The reception will also be outdoors, so a light sweater or jacket is encouraged for the evening.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Because we’ll have many guests traveling in for the wedding, we’ve reserved a room block at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott to make accommodations easier. You can find booking details, rates, and deadlines in the “Travel” section above.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged a shuttle service for our guests. The shuttle will depart from the SpringHill Suites by Marriott lobby at X:XX PM to take guests to the wedding venue. Return shuttles will be available at 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM to bring guests back to the hotel. Please arrive at the main house entrance 10 minutes before departure times.

Will there be dietary-friendly options?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style, with a variety of options to accommodate dietary restrictions. Passed hors d’oeuvres: Italian bruschetta with shaved parmesan and balsamic, and crabby grilled cheese with fontina Buffet selections: Fresh romaine salad with raspberry balsamic vinaigrette, roasted seasonal vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, Chicken Marbella, chef-carved fire-grilled tri-tip with sauces, and artisan focaccia and rosemary bread.
