What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held at W6796 Branch Road, Tomahawk, WI. In the event of rain, the ceremony and reception will both be held at The Rosewood Barn.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

No. If the weather allows, the ceremony will be held outdoors at the cabin, and the reception will follow at The Rosewood Barn. If it rains, both will take place at The Rosewood Barn.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual attire is encouraged. Nice jeans and a button-up shirt or suits for men are acceptable; however, graphic T-shirts are too casual. Sundresses, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or nice jeans and a top are welcome for women. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white dresses for obvious reasons.

Will transportation be provided to and from the reception?

Answer

Yes! For guests who would rather skip the drive, a shuttle will be available from the Rodeway Inn (1738 E Comfort Dr, Tomahawk, WI 54487, near the R-Store off Exit 229) to the reception venue. The shuttle will pick up guests between 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM and bring everyone to the celebration. At the end of the night, a return shuttle will depart the reception at 11:00 PM and take guests back to the Rodeway Inn. So sit back, enjoy the festivities, and leave the driving to someone else!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. You’re welcome to take photos during the reception!

Where should out-of-town guests stay?

Answer

We've included a list of recommended hotels in both Tomahawk and Rhinelander under the Travel section of our website. The ceremony venue is closer to the Tomahawk hotels, and shuttle service will be available for guests staying or parking in Tomahawk. Rhinelander hotels are located closer to the reception venue, making them another convenient option. If you'd prefer a more private stay, there are also several Airbnb rentals available throughout the surrounding area!

How will we know if the ceremony location has changed due to weather?

Answer

We will make a weather-related decision the morning of the wedding. If rain is expected, the ceremony will be moved indoors, and guests will be notified that day with updated location details.
