One of Dylan's first favorites of New Orleans. Be sure to order a cafe au lait and an order of beignets!
NOMA is a great art museum that even has a sculpture garden! We've had a few dates here that coupled with the adjacent City Park.
Taylor went to school here to earn her Chemical Engineering degree. It's a beautiful campus that's adjacent to the equally beautiful Audubon Park. Be sure to check out this area for the Magnolia lined St. Charles Ave to get the full taste of the Garden District.
As the centerpiece of the French Quarter, St. Louis Cathedral is one of New Orleans' most recognizable landmarks. The oldest cathedral in North America, St. Louis Cathedral was originally built in the early 1700s. The structure standing today is actually the third cathedral built on this spot, since the first two were destroyed. Religious services are still held here. Even if you're not interested in attending a service, past visitors urge you to take a peek inside, describing it as "beautiful inside and out."
This is an amazing aquarium that specializes in aquatic life of the Americas. The exhibits feature regions throughout North and South America including the Caribbean reef exhibit, the Amazon exhibit, a Mississippi River gallery, and a Gulf of Mexico exhibit. Don't forget to check out the African penguins and sea otters!
