Jonathan and Ashley met at Mom's Bar in West L.A., which is a quintessential dive bar packed with college students, flowing cheap drinks and great 90s hip hop nights on Cuatro De Mayo in 2013. They met coincidentally while Ashley was picking up her friends and Jon offered to buy Ashley and Nathan a drink. They hit it off and went on their first date a week later. Jon was a complete gentleman from the beginning and wanted to make their first date special by taking Ashley to a restaurant she had never been to, however, Ashley had been to most restaurants on the Westside so Jon went through a long list before he found the perfect first date spot. They went to Harvelle's burlesque show after dinner and had a wonderful first date. They continued to date and after a few weeks were inseparable. They moved in after four months of knowing each other and will be celebrating their 6.5 year anniversary on their wedding date!

On July 3, 2017 Jonathan proposed to Ashley at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego with many of their closest friends there to witness!
