To be honest, Danny and I both have discussed this question several times and neither of us have been able to determine the day or even exact year for that matter. We do know this... We met in Buchanan, Michigan. Toni's family and Danny's best friend Brett Walsh (who happens to be Toni's cousin) have a Lake House at Clear Lake. Toni and Brett always have been close, and Brett brought Danny up to the lake several times. Our best guess when we met was at 14-15 years old. If you ask anyone up at the lake... they would always say Toni & Danny will be married one day.

Toni has always been very family-focused individual. She spent countless time in New Buffalo, Michigan where her mom grew up. Toni frequented the towns little old chapel where her parents got married every Easter and Christmas, so it has always been a meaningful place. A few years back, this old staple church was turned into the "Beer Church Brewery". As lovers of breweries and wineries Toni and Danny were not overly disappointed. On August 12th, 2018, Toni's family created a fake going away brunch for her cousins who would soon be leaving for college. Dan made a great suggestion of why don't we stop and bring everyone some beer from the beer church? As they were waiting for their to-go beers to be poured the owner offered sample beers while they waited. A very nervous Dan summed up the courage to ask Toni to marry him. As they head to Toni's aunt house in New Buffalo there was a surprise engagement party being held in our honor for the newly engaged couple with their immediate family and some of their best friends. The day was perfect.
