After years of prayer and trust, God made it clear His timing really is perfect. Ben and Alicia met online and connected in likeness of faith, service, and love for their families. Ben using his charm, won Alicia over with his poetic gestures. Their love grew and it was evident that only the Holy Spirit could have put them together. Ben proposed to Alicia on Christmas Day 2025, with the assistance from her sister from Canada with all of her family present. Ben and Alicia had previously discussed marriage and they both knew that the Lord had placed them together. Alicia had no idea. Ben utilized the plan for a “Canadian” tradition that allowed all of Alicia’s family to open a gift with a ring pop inside. Ben indicated, “I can do better” as he got down on one knee to express his love for Alicia. Ben asked the question Alicia couldn’t wait to be asked by the man she loves, “Will you marry me?” Alicia did not hesitate as she said, “Yes”.
