Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space and budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm, so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you have time to park, sign the guestbook, and find your seat.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is rustic dressy casual. For the Gentleman, collared shirt or a button down, and jeans. Suits are also acceptable. For the Ladies, dresses or pants and a blouse. The ceremony will be outside in a grassy area, and the reception will be inside.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you all. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We need to make sure our vendors have an accurate number so we can account for all of our guests on our big day, therefore, please RSVP no later than August 31, 2025 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at Best Western Golden Spike Inn & Suites click the link in the travel tab or call (605) 574-2577 to book and make sure to mention it is for the Pitlick/Novacek wedding. We have also listed some of the best places to stay in the Black Hills in the travel tab above!

When do I have to reserve a hotel room within the hotel block by?

Answer

All rooms reserved within our hotel block must be reserved by August 10th.
