The Wedding Website of Nourhan Chalhoub and Kareem Baalbaki
For our out-of-town guests, we’re so grateful you’re making the trip to celebrate with us! Whether you’re flying in, driving, or looking for a cozy place to stay, we’ve gathered all the details to make your travel planning easy. On this page, you’ll find recommendations for flights, driving directions, nearby hotels, Airbnb options, and some of our favorite local spots. We want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible—so whether you're here for the weekend or a quick trip, we've got you covered!

Flight

Expedia

When you book your flight, hotel, and/or rental car together, you can unlock special “bundle” discounts that are usually cheaper than booking everything separately. Just select the “Vacation Packages” tab on Expedia and choose what you need — you can mix and match: - Flight + Hotel - Hotel + Car - Flight + Car - Or all three! If you're planning to turn this into a little getaway, I definitely recommend checking out bundle deals on Expedia — you can save money by booking your flight, hotel, and even a rental car together. It's a great way to stretch your trip and explore more of New York City while you're here. But if you're coming just for the wedding and want to keep things simple, staying near the venue is much more convenient — especially with NYC traffic! We’ve listed a few nearby hotel options to make your stay easy and stress-free.

Train

AirTrain: JFK Airport to Times Square

JFK Airport has five terminals. After you land and pick up your luggage from baggage claim, follow the signs for the "AirTrain". Take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station — the fare is $8.25 per person, which you’ll pay when you exit the AirTrain at Jamaica by purchasing a MetroCard. From Jamaica Station, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Penn Station in Manhattan. - If you're traveling "off-peak" (anytime outside of 6–10 AM and 4–8 PM), you qualify for a CityTicket, which is cheaper. - Buy your ticket the same day you plan to use it — CityTickets are only valid on the day of purchase. - We recommend downloading the MTA TrainTime app to buy and manage your ticket. - In the app, select travel from Jamaica to Grand Central (don’t worry — it works for Penn Station too). - Do not activate the ticket until you're on the train. Once aboard, activate it in the app so the conductor can scan it. You’ll arrive at Penn Station, located at 33rd Street and 7th Avenue. From there, follow signs for the Exit, and you can walk to Times Square — it’s just an 8-minute walk (about 9 blocks).

Train

Bus Service: LGA Airport to Times Square

LaGuardia Airport has three terminals, and it doesn’t matter which one you arrive at — the cheapest way to get to the city is just $2.90. 1. After baggage claim, follow the signs for buses. You’re looking for the M60 SBS (Select Bus Service) to Astoria Blvd subway station. This is the subway station, not just the bus stop. Even if you don’t see “M60” on the signs right away, keep following the bus signs — you’ll get there. 2. For payment, use a contactless option like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a tap-enabled credit or debit card. If you prefer, you can also use a MetroCard, which you can buy and load at vending machines inside the airport. Keep your receipt — MTA inspectors sometimes ask for proof of payment, and without it, you could be fined $100. 3. Take the M60 bus to Astoria Blvd subway station. 4. From Astoria Blvd, go to the Manhattan and Brooklyn-bound platform and take the N or W subway train into Midtown Manhattan. 5. As long as you transfer within two hours of paying for the bus, the subway ride is included — no extra charge. 6. Use Google/Apple Maps to figure out which stop in Midtown is closest to your hotel.

Train

Express Bus: EWR Airport to Times Square

Newark Airport has three terminals, and there are two main public transportation options to get to Midtown Manhattan: Option 1: Train and subway – $15.90 per person - Take the AirTrain from your terminal to Newark Liberty Airport Station. From there, take an NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station. - Once you're in Manhattan, you can use the subway or walk to reach your hotel near Times Square. - This is the cheapest option, but it involves transferring and handling luggage between trains. Option 2: Newark Airport Express Bus – $21.20 per person (easier and direct) - After picking up your bags, take the elevator to Level 1 and exit the terminal. Look for signs for the Newark Airport Express bus. - Follow signs to Bus Stop 16, where the Express picks up. Keep in mind that the stop number can change, so read the signs carefully or ask airport staff to confirm the correct pickup point. - Your destination is Port Authority Bus Terminal – New York (on 42nd Street in Times Square). - Buses run approximately every 45 minutes and the ride takes about 50 minutes nonstop. Tips: - Buy your tickets online at: https://www.coachusa.com/airport-transportation Use “Newark Liberty Airport” as your origin and “Port Authority Bus Terminal-NY” as your destination. - It's usually best to buy your ticket once you land, so you don’t risk waiting a long time if you miss a scheduled bus. - Scan the QR code once you're on the bus. If you're planning to return the same way, purchase a roundtrip ticket. - You can also pay in cash, but make sure you have exactly $21.50, as the driver won’t give change. Group tip: If you're traveling with a group, it might be easier (and even cheaper when split) to take a Revel, Uber, or Lyft directly into Manhattan.

Important Tip

If you're flying into any of the NYC airports and want to avoid getting overcharged on your way into the city, I highly recommend watching Sarah Funk’s YouTube video titled “How to Get From NYC Airports to City Center Without Being RIPPED OFF.” She breaks down the most affordable and efficient ways to get from JFK, LGA, and Newark into Manhattan using different types of transportation like AirTrain, buses, subways, and express shuttles. Her channel also has lots of great itinerary ideas, food spots, and fun things to do around NYC — perfect if you're looking to explore before or after the wedding! Check it out on YouTube by searching Sarah Funk NYC Airport Guide, or visit her page for more travel tips and local recommendations.

Important Tip

If you're trying to figure out the best way to get around New York or travel between places like the airport, hotel, and wedding venue, I highly recommend using Rome2Rio. It’s a super helpful website that shows you all your transportation options — including trains, buses, subways, ferries, rideshares, and flights — along with estimated travel times and prices. You can type in any two locations (like JFK Airport to Times Square or your hotel to the Westmount Country Club), and it will map out the best ways to get there. Definitely check it out when planning your trip — it makes navigating NYC and New Jersey so much easier!

Travel Note

Important Tip

Getting to the Westmount Country Club If you’re staying in Manhattan (especially near Times Square), here’s what to expect when traveling to the venue: Uber/Lyft Option: A one-way ride from Times Square to the Westmount Country Club typically costs $100–$130, depending on traffic and time of day. This is a great option if you’re traveling with a group — you can split the fare, making it more affordable and comfortable. Driving Yourself? If you're renting a car or driving your own, plan to leave early. The drive is about 45–60 minutes with no traffic, but delays are common — especially on weekends. Also, GPS sometimes sends people the wrong way near the venue entrance, so give yourself extra time for possible rerouting or missed turns. Important: There is plenty of parking available at the venue, so no need to worry about that once you arrive!
