Larnaca International Airport (LCA) Paphos International Airport (PFO) The venue and the areas that we suggest you stay in are closer to Larnaca airport, so we recommend flying here to avoid the 1.5 hour drive from Paphos airport (though it is a lovely drive!)
We strongly recommend you stay in the Larnaca district. This includes: Larnaca town Meneou Dromolaxia Tersefanou Pervolia Kiti (this is where we live) All of these options are from 5-15 minutes to drive from each other (it's a small country!) We are 40 minutes from the venue, so all of these options will keep you around this distance also. We will be arranging transport options to/from the venue from the Larnaca area, though you are welcome to drive.
We are more than happy to help you look for something, just let us know what you need! If you have found something but aren't sure if it's in a good location, then just ask us! We suggest checking the following links for accommodation: www.airbnb.com www.booking.com www.tripadvisor.com www.rentvillacyprus.net
Rental car: The best way to get around in Cyprus is with a rental car, which it is probably easiest to arrange at the airport you will arrive at. Here are some additional options in the Larnaca area: www.7777rentacar.com www.enterprise.com/en/car-rental/locations/cyprus.html www.europcar.com.cy www.sixt.global/car-rental/cyprus/larnaca Taxi: The easiest way to hail a taxi in Cyprus is with the app Bolt. Outside of bigger towns like Larnaca town, drivers are limited to non-existent and wait times will be longer. We will provide phone numbers for more traditional taxi companies closer to the date. Again, these will be more difficult to arrange outside of Larnaca town. Public transport: The only public transport available is the bus (unless you are interested in Cyprus' historical railway museum). We don't recommend either as a reliable way to get around.
There are no COVID restrictions currently in place, but we will let you know if that changes.
Late May is a lovely time of year in Cyprus, the days will be warm and the nights will be milder. We suggest bringing a cardigan, shawl or light jacket for the evening as it could still be a little cold (admittedly by Cyprus standards).
Everything will take place at Lexeko Estate in Lythrodontas.
The whole event will be outdoors, but there is an indoor area available if you get too hot or too cold.
After the ceremony, guests will be served refreshments for around an hour until dinner is served while the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby
We will arrange some transport from the Larnaca area to the venue for those interested. Alternatively, you can drive or arrange a taxi.
There is an unbelievable amount of free parking at the venue.
Absolutely!
We will be having a Cypriot Greek buffet, but please do let us know about any dietary requirements as soon as possible.
Please RSVP by the end of March! You can either follow the link in the invitation or just let us know personally.
