Kristin and Michael’s journey began all the way back in a 7th-grade Spanish class, where they were placed in the same group for a restaurant skit. Over plates of plastic food and their best attempts to become bilingual, they quickly became close friends. It didn’t take long for them to realize there was something more than just friendship between them. They began dating on March 3, 2013, during their freshman year of high school, and have been each other’s person ever since. Well… almost. After over four years of being inseparable, life took them in different directions when Kristin attended Providence College and Michael to Villanova University. The distance caused them to part ways for three years, but their story wasn’t over yet. Just weeks after graduation, they found their way back to each other because some “what ifs” are too big to ignore. Since June 2020, they’ve been proving that true love finds a way when it’s meant to be. Michael cheered Kristin on through her three-year Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Rutgers University while he worked at Bloomberg in NYC. They took another big step in 2024 when they moved into their first apartment together in Jersey City. They now reside in Washington, D.C. so that Michael can pursue his MBA from Georgetown University. In December 2024, during their first trip to Europe together, Michael got down on one knee on a rooftop in Paris. Teary-eyed, and with the beautiful City of Light looking on, Kristin said yes! The memories we've made so far are unforgettable, and we thank you all for the support along the way! We can't wait to laugh, dance, and celebrate with all of you in May 2026!
