Maid of Honor
👋🏼 Hi, I’m Karen, Maid of Honor and bestie of the Bride! Courtney and I met in Lake Havasu years ago and were excited to know we lived close in Peoria. She’s been my boatin’ bestie ever since. #orangecrushcrew 🧡🚤 My favorite memory is our ride to Crown King, more specifically, our self-initiated lawn dance party. 💃🏼 #getlow

🙋🏼♀️ I’m Kristen! I’m married to Courtney’s amazing brother, Michael, who is also the wedding officiant! While we may be family now, Courtney and I go way back. In high school, we used to “prance” around the track, representing our school’s 4x800m relay team. We medaled in the state competition, and I’m pretty sure our names are still on the wall as the record holders. 🙌🏼🥇

Hi, I’m Jess! 🙋🏼♀️ Courtney and I met when I first started working at Aetna in 2015 and were instantly given the nickname ‘the twins’. One of my favorite memories is running our first 10k together! I couldn’t have done it without her helping me train and running right beside me!

I’m Patti! 🙌🏼 Courtney and I met in Lake Havasu 2014 in 2014 at the Desert Storm Poker Run at the channel. One of my favorite memories (there are so many) is one of the weekends in Havasu on Orange Crush. I always have too much fun on Thursday nights 😂 and never make it on the water the next day. By some miracle I was okay the following day! 🥳 We did our photo shoot behind Orange Crush & made it in the magazine spread 🍊👙 I’m also the one who orchestrated this match made in Heaven! My husband Mark and I met Richard through his brother-in-law Cody last year over New Year’s in Rocky Point.

🙋🏼♀️ I’m Tara! Courtney and I have been friends for years. We originally met at the street fair at the annual Desert Storm Poker Run in Lake Havasu! We have so many great memories together, so I’ll choose one that involves how Courtney met Richard. A bunch of our friends were at the Dunes celebrating New Year’s. Us girls tried so hard to stage “casual” laughing pictures of ourselves. 🙄 The next morning, Courtney excitedly came into my motorhome saying she thinks she met her future husband! The two of us and Karen proceeded to Facebook stalk this man. 😂 All through our NYE game night, Courtney’s phone went off every two seconds, which we all harassed her for. Less than a week later, we all got to meet Richard after they shared their first date at Arrowhead Grill!

👋🏼 I’m Rachael! Courtney and I met in the Welcome to Aetna class on my first day of work. Courtney was teaching and set to be my “mentor” for the day and all I could think was “ugh, she’s so pretty. Now I have to hate her...” We ended up talking after class for hours and sharing our (very similar) life stories by the end of the day. Fast forward in time...I needed a hot date for a comedy show where we ended up crying laughing before the show even began! In a haze, I also met my ‘soul mate’ (the bartender) that night and Courtney was very supportive and encouraging of the nonsense that followed! ❤️

My favorite story of Richard is when we decided to go 4 wheeling in his general after it rained. I asked if we needed to bring a shovel and he said no, I have a 50’ winch. I threw it in anyway! The trip was going great until on the way back we decided to go through a wash that was running about 6” of water. Well, we got stuck in the middle of that wash. We were about 60’ from a tree to hook the winch to. We dug and dug with that shovel and couldn’t move an inch. It was Richards idea for me to stand on the shovel in the middle of the wash and hook the winch to it. I thought it would never work but we inched our way within 50’ of a tree to drag us the rest of the way. In marriage there is a solution to every problem and Courtney if you don’t like that solution remember I own a shovel!
