Erik and I first met our junior year of college at a bar in Tulsa where our friend Declan actually pushed him into me so Erik would talk to me. I didn't care because I just wanted to dance all night long but he bought me a drink so I thought what was the worst thing that could happen if I talk to this guy. We were talking the rest of the night and were laughing away, and if you have met Erik you know he's a quiet guy but not when he's got some liquid courage, he was talking almost as much as me. The night got away from us and I left with out giving him my number but luckily he was riding in Brookes car and asked her for it, which he reminds me everyday that he made the first move. We actually took a picture together and I posted it then Katie texted me asking who the cutie is, little did we know that picture would actually not be our first. Erik and I found out that we actually were on the same team for an athlete event at our school in the very beginning of the same year. This event was forcing us to hold hands for a game and of course it was awkward, we were complete strangers holding sweaty hands in Oklahoma summer heat. Turns out that Erik and I met almost 6 month prior to when we originally thought but we couldn't be more happy about our journey and are so excited for this next chapter of our lives. I love him and our sweet puppy with everything.
